5th Mamaself STATUS MEETING : 21-24 MAY 2013
RIGI KULM, SWITZERLAND, organized with the Paul Scherrer Institute
The program will focus on the work performed by the Master 2 students of the Erasmus Mundus program MaMaSELF during the Master thesis semester.
It will be amended by talks of specialists presenting their methods and talks focusing on large scale facilities.

RIGI KULM, SWITZERLAND
For the fourth year Mamaself students and Professors coming from all over the world will meet in Switzerland for the 4th Mamaself Status meeting co-organised by the PSI.
The Status meeting will take place in Rigi Kulm again, at 1800 m on the mountain, with a fantastic view over the mountains and lakes around.
The students will have there an occasion to present the first results of their Master thesis work during the second semester. They will have also the opportunity to meet several Professors coming from different institutions in Europe and outside Europe.

ERASMUS MUNDUS : REACHING NEW FRONTIERS IN EXCELLENCE
Meeting in Rigi Kulm, Switzerland for the first Mamaself status meeting with all Consortium members, all first year Mamaself students, partners from Action 3 coming from Japan and Switzerland, lecturers from the Large Scale Facilities, and the administrative management staff of the consortium.
The MaMaSELF Status Meeting in Switzerland is organized by Partner Institutions in Switzerland ETH ZURICH and Paul Scherrer Institute in the Framework of the Erasmus Mundus Programme.

- Presentation of scientific topics from different institutions
Topics in : Physics, Chemistry, Nanoscience, Materials Science
- Presentation of first results of the Master by all students

Location
The Meeting is taking place in RIGI KULM, at 1700 m altitude!
The hotel Rigi Kulm is 70 km south of Zurich on an altitude of 1797 meter higgh above the Lake of Lucerne and reachable by cogwheel trains from Arth-Goldau.
Walking shoes are recommended for extended walks!

By plane
Next airports are Zurich (ZRH) and Basel (BSL/MLH). Zurich has a train station beyond terminal B, Basel Europort is connected by bus to Basel SBB.
By train
Excellent train connections are servicing Arth-Goldau SBB/RB with direct connections to Zurich and Basel.
By car
Highway A4, exit 38 (Goldau)

Visa
Therefore, some of you may need a visa to enter Switzerland.
